BotoxBotox Before & After Photos    What to Expect with BotoxBOTOX® Cosmetic is a temporary treatment for fine lines and wrinkles of the forehead, around and between the eyes, around the mouth and neck. This is an affordable procedure that reduces this major sign of aging. Many patients fear trying BOTOX® because they associate it with the Botulism bacteria. BOTOX® is not Botulism but rather a purified protein produced under strict laboratory conditions and is considered by doctors to be extremely safe. To work effectively Dr. Newall will determine which muscles are the cause of the facial lines you wish to diminish and injects them with BOTOX® Cosmetic. BOTOX® works by temporarily inhibiting the neuro-signals that activate those muscles affectively causing temporary localized paralysis. Over the following week the reduction in muscle movement will allow the lines to diminish and even vanish. This is temporary. Most patients feel the BOTOX® wear off and the lines return in 4 to 6 months. There are very few complications that can occur with genuine BOTOX® Cosmetic and those complications are usually temporary.
