What to Expect with Browlift Surgery

A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, is the surgical option to improve the lines and wrinkles that form on the forehead and the bridge of the nose as well as repositioning a sagging brow. A sagging brow and increased number and size of forehead lines are a major sign of aging. This is a major concern to many people because it often has the tendency to change one’s expressions. Decreasing the forehead lines, the frown lines and raising the eyebrows give the impression of being alert and lively. Many patients are worried of having a “startled look” after this procedure but advances in the field and the expert hands of Dr. Newall can give you a more natural and youthful look without the “startled” appearance.

Dr. Newall performs is brow lifts using an endoscope. The endoscopic brow lift uses this little video camera to assist in the repositioning of the muscles of the forehead thru incisions in the hairline. This technique minimizes the size of the incisions and greatly reduces any scarring.

It is common to combine a brow lift with eyelid surgery, facelift, or skin resurfacing procedures. Dr. Newall does not charge for consultations and can help you determine what is right for you.
